Dean Haglund is probably best known for his nine seasons playing Langly, one of the computer geeks known as "The Lone Gunmen" from the hit FOX TV series The X-Files. He also starred in the The X-Files spin-off series The Lone Gunmen. His character is so popular that Dean is a main attraction at X-File and Sci-Fi conventions all over North America.
A long-time comedy improviser, Dean got his start with the likes of Ryan Stiles and Colin Mockerie (Whose Line is it Anyway?) in the internationally award winning Vancouver TheatreSports League.

Danny's been touring across the U.S. for the past ten years, performing in New York, Los Angeles and the many stages in between. He is the winner of the 2000 San Francisco Comedy Competition and made his international debut at the 2003 Cat Laughs Comedy Festival in Killkenny Ireland. Danny made an appearance on Comedy Central's Premium Blend in 2004. He was a featured performer on The World Stands Up, filmed in London, currently airing on comedy networks in Europe and Australia. More recently he performed at the 2006 US Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen for HBO.
Trevor Boris

Trevor Boris has come a long way from the farm he grew up on near Winnipeg, MB. He is one of the stars and producers of MuchMusic’s hit show Video on Trial, has starred in numerous standup specials including One Night Standup on LOGO, and Comedy NOW on CTV, and is about to release his first major label standup DVD for Warner Music entitled ‘Trevor Boris: Over Easy’.
A two-time Canadian Comedy Award nominee, Trevor has performed at the Just for Laughs Festival in Montreal, the Cape Town International Comedy Festival in South Africa, the DC Comedy Fest in Washington D.C., the Vancouver Comedy Festival, as well as taping numerous TV Galas at the CBC Winnipeg and Halifax Comedy Festivals. Most recently, Trevor performed at the Montreal Just for Laugh's Festival at a gala with Pam Anderson.

You've seen him in such movies as "Problem Child," "Problem Child II," "Look Who's Talking II" and "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane." His signature voice can be heard in several commercials, cartoons and movies, including the frustrated duck in the AFLAC Insurance commercials. Gottfried has been a regular on the new "Hollywood Squares" and is a frequent guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" and "The Howard Stern Show." Gottfried is one of the most sought-after comedians, and regularly performs live to sold-out audiences across North America.

Known as one of the best comedians that Canada has ever produced, Mike MacDonald is fast, funny and probably the best veteran of the North American funnyman circuit. In addition to his successful and well received live performances all over North America, Mike MacDonald has appeared in such TV shows as The Late Show with David Letterman and the Arsenio Hall Show. Mike MacDonald's popularity continues to skyrocket both in the United States and Canada. He has hosted both the Gemini Awards and the "Just For Laughs 10th Anniversary Special" for the CBC and starred in a sitcom on that network called "Mosquito Lake." Mike holds the distinciton for being the only comedian to have performed at every Just For Laugh's Festival.

He has performed in the Leicester, Vancouver, Washington DC, Portland, Just For Laughs/Chicago, and the USCAF/Aspen comedy festivals, and has been on the TV via "Last Call with Carson Daly," "The Very Funny Show" on TBS and "The World Stands Up" on the BBC. He was called "bleak and misanthropic" by the London Evening Standard, which he still feels may be a compliment. It was just announced that Kinane has been chosen to record his own Comedy Central Special.

Daniel Kinno

Born in Ukraine, Daniel Kinno delivers insightful and raucous narratives on topics ranging from the menial tasks of daily life, to relationships, pop culture, and his unusual Ukrainian heritage with a truly unique perspective.
In 1996, Kinno moved to America first settling in Columbus, Ohio. Kinno can be recognized from television where his stand up has been featured on MTV, The Game Show Network and The WB. Kinno has also starred in a 2003 national advertising campaign for ESPN and in 2004 completed the pilot "Boys Behaving Badly" for the Oxygen Network. 2002 Witnessed Daniel's acclaimed performance at the prestigious Just for Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, Canada as part of the New Faces showcase.

For the first time, Nick Griffin will be coming to Winnipeg. A regular performer on The Late Show with David Letterman, he's been on over 6 times, Rumor's is excited to bring in this New Yorker. Nick is also a regular on the The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.
Rumor's is pleased to bring in Nick for our Christmas season as he is extremely hilarious and very corporate friendly. Nick's views resonate with the audience and he can easily connect with the crowd.

JR Brow

JR Brow is a comedy composer who draws from his eclectic fifteen year collection of jokes, impressions, music, and characters to customize an experience that cannot be described with any one genre. Covering politics, relationships, religion, current events and pop culture, with topics ranging from Columbine to Donkey Kong; JR expertly blends seemingly opposing subjects into a hilarious mix.
JR's ability to incorporate an electric guitar in his performance is a hilarious delight to the fans that are able to witness it. JR has proven to be a hot commodity, as he is in high demand at clubs across the continent.
